Creating a WordPress post is very straightforward & easy. In this tutorial we will cover the steps on how you can add/create a new WordPress post easily in Simple steps.
To add/create post in WordPress you need to do the following:
Step 1) Login to your WordPress dashboard or Admin Panel.
Step 2) Once you are inside in the dashboard, on the left side in your WordPress dashboard, click on Posts > Add New.
Step 3) Now to create your new WordPress post you need to enter the following:
Post Title: In this field you need to enter the title of your new WordPress post that you want to create.
For Example: If you want to create a post related to Arsenal vs Manchester United Football match on 21st Jan, 2016 then you can enter the post title as“Arsenal vs Manchester United – 21st Jan, 2016 Scores”.
Post Content: In this box you need to enter the description or write the content of your WordPress post. You can write anything that you want in your post content box. You can also give various style like Bold, Italics and Underline etc. to your content using the WordPress toolbox.
Add Media: If you want to show any pictures/images or videos in your post then you can use the “Add Media” button to upload your images/video files from your PC/Laptop or from an online link & add it in your post’s content.
Step 4) After you have entered your post title and its content then click the “Publish” button to add this post in your WordPress website.
Now your new Post has been published on your website/blog. You can open your website to check your new post. The new post will also be visible on the front page of your WordPress blog.
