Normally from the website like e-commerce website which have databases of its customers are likely to non-secure if SSL have not installed.
SSL certificate allow the owner of the website to encrypt their traffic or visitor’s data.
Generally when visitor’s data like his card information or something else is transferring to server through website then SSL include some of the additional charters or other things to encrypt data which is difficult for hackers to decrypt.

Prerequisites or Requirement for installing SSL Certificate:
There are lots of requirement for installing SSL certifcate. Some of the prerequisites are listed below that you need to check before installing SSL certificate:
1) Registered Domain Name: You should have a registered domain name before buying and installing SSL.
2) Active Hosting plan: Active hosting plan is also needed in which you will install your SSL certificate.
3) Dedicated IP: Dedicated IP is required to install SSL certificate on shared hosting platform.
4) SSL certificate: You also need to buy SSL certificate from SSL certificate provider that you will install on your website.
Once done with buying SSL you need to install it in your hosting account. Now I am explaining you the detailed instruction with which you can install SSL easily.
Steps to Install SSL Certificate:
For installing SSL certificate on your website you need to follow the below mentioned steps:
Step 1) First of all you need to login to your cPanel account.
Step 2) After logging to the the cPanel, you need to scroll down to the Security section and click on SSL/TLS.
Step 3) Now you need to scroll down to Install and Manage SSL for your site (HTTPS) menu and then click on Manage SSL sites.
Step 4) You will be now redirected to a page where you need to fill some important data for installing the SSL. In this page you need to scroll down to Install an SSL Website section and select the domain name from the drop down menu.
After that scroll down and click on ‘Install Certificate’, Check your domain and it will show https.
Step 5) Now you need to copy the CRT code that received from the SSL provider. Your CRT code will include the BEGIN CERTIFICATE and END CERTIFICATE at the top and bottom of the code.
You can open your CRT code file in the note pad or using any text editor. Generally all SSL provider sent .crt file on the registered email of their users.
You need to paste your crt code in the Certificate: (CRT) field as shown in the below screenshot.
Step 6) After entering the CRT code you need to click on Auto-fill by Certificate button next to the Domain drop down menu. By doing this your system will automatically fetch the domain name and the private keys. Or you can input private key manually in correspondence fields.
Step 7) Once done with CRT code and private key then you need to scroll down to Certificate Authority Bundle (CABUNDLE) and fill it if it is blank or not filled automatically.
Step 8) Once done with entering all the keys you need to click on Install Certification button to complete the SSL Certificate installation.
Congratulation! SSL certificate has successfully installed on your website by following the above mentioned steps. You can verify it by visiting your website after clearing cache and cookies of your browser.
