1. Steps to Change Email Account Password in cPanel.
Follow the below given steps to change email password in cPanel:
Step 1) Firstly, you need to login into your cPanel.
Step 2) After logging in your cPanel, Go to ‘Mail’ section and click on ‘Email Accounts’.
Step 3) After Clicking on ‘Email Account’ link in the navigation menu, you need to click on the ‘Change Password’ link and Fill the following details.
New Password: Type in a strong password that you want to set for your email account that you are creating. You can also use the “Password Generator” tool to generate a strong password for you.
Confirm Password: Retype the password that you had just entered above.
Step 4) Click on ‘Change Password’ button.
Congratulations!You have changed your email account password successfully.
2. Change Email Account Password in Webmail by logging into cPanel.
Follow the following steps to change email account password in webmail by logging into the cPanel:
Step 1) Login to your cPanel.
Step 2) After logging in your cPanel, Go to ‘Mail’ section and click on ‘Email Accounts’.
Step 3) On Email accounts page, when you scroll down and you will find all the email accounts that you have created in your cPanel.
Click on the ‘More’ button next to the email account whose password you want to change & then click on ‘Access Webmail’ link in the navigation menu on the right hand side.
Step 4) After clicking in Access webmail link, then you need to click on the ‘Password & Security’ and enter the new details.
Step 5) Now click on ‘Change Password’ button.
The email account ‘test@yourdomain.com’ is successfully modified.
3. Change Email Account Password Without logging into cPanel.
You can also change your email account password in webmail without logging into your cPanel by opening any of the following links in your browser:
http://yourdomain.com:2095
http://yourdomain.com/webmail
Step 1) Open any of the above links in your browser and Click on the ‘Reset Password’
Step 2) After clicking on the ‘Reset Password’, you need to enter the username of the cPanel. After entering the username of the cPanel then click on ‘Reset Password’.
Step 3) Now you need to enter your registered email address that is associated with Domainking.NG E.g.‘abc@gmail.com’ and click on the ‘Send Security Code’
Step 4) After clicking on ‘send security code’ you will receive an email from Domainking.NG that contains the security code. Enter Security Code that you will received from Domainking.NG and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
Security Code: The system sent the security code to the account’s contact email address. If you did not set up a contact email address or you cannot access the contact email address, you cannot proceed.
Step 5) After clicking on the submit button then you need to enter your new password and confirm password that you want to set.
New Password: Type in a strong password that you want to set for your email account that you are creating. You can also use the ‘Password Generator’ tool to enter a strong password for you.
Confirm Password: Retype the password that you just set.
Step 6) Click on the ‘Set Password’ button.
