Step 1) First of all you need to login to cPanel.

Scan Public Web Space: When you need to scan the particulars public_html directory then this option scans the public_html directory in your account, It’s considering for your infected website files. If any website files will be reported to be infected with virus then you should run this scan regularly to check.
Scan Public FTP Space: when you need to scan particulars public_ftp directory while sharing files using FTP then this option scans the public_ftp directory in your account. It’s looking for infected files. You need to run this scan when you are share files using FTP.
Step 4) Now you need to select a directory which you want to scan & clean as your desire.
Step 5) After selecting a directory as your desire then you need to click on “Scan Now”.
Step 6) After scanning the virus scan, If the virus scanner finds any infected files as your scanned directory then you can do it as below:
Quarantine: If you are select this option, the virus scanner transfer the infected files into the quarantine directory as located at /home/username/quarantine_clamavconnector where username represents with your actual account username.
Destroy: If you are select this option, the virus scanner deletes all of the infected files in your account.
Ignore: If you are select this option, the virus scanner can’t deletes the infected files. Its simply ignore the infected file unchanged.
Step 6) Now you need to select destroy option to destroy the malwares which are infecting the files in your hosting account.
Step 7) After selecting the desired option as described above, you need to click on Process Cleanup button.
